Chennai Building Collapse: 17 Dead, 21 injured; nearly 38 people pulled out of debris

The toll in the multi-storeyed building colapse at Mugalivakkam near Porur here went up to 17 as rescuers continued to sift through the rubble to extricate more persons, even as Chief Minister Jayalalithaa visited the site and indicated at least 40 others may still be trapped beneath the debris.
