Metro helps cut down carbon dioxide in Delhi

DMRC has transported over 369 crore commuters in the last 12 years, resulting in saving of 2.9 million tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent due to shift from other modes of travel, thus reducing global warming and climate change, according to a senior DMRC official.
