Cabinet to take up Juvenile Justice Act amendments on Wednesday

A proposal which will empower Juvenile Justice Board to decide on whether a juvenile above 16 years involved in heinous crimes such as rape is to be sent to a observation home or tried in a regular court, is likely to be taken up by the cabinet on Wednesday.
