Major setback for UPA! SC rules 'all coal block allocations post 1993 are illegal'

The coal blocks were allotted in Jharkhand, Chattisgarh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Odisha and Madhya Pradesh to private companies and parties between 2004 to March 2011. The CAG has also estimated a huge loss of about Rs 1.64 lakhs crores to the country in scam.
