Rajnath steers clear of UP law and order issue

Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday steered clear of queries on recent incidents of rape and communal violence in Uttar Pradesh, saying law and order is the primary responsibility of the state government and the Centre only provides assistance to deal with such matters.
