Govt revises down 2014-15 coffee output by 4 per cent

The government today revised downward its estimate of coffee production by four per cent to 3.31 lakh tonnes for this year, citing crop damage in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Odisha due to continuous rain after dry spell and ‘Hud Hud’ cyclone.
