Is motor vehicle law applicable to e-rickshaws: SC asks Centre

The controversy relating to the plying of battery operated e-rickshaws on Monday reached the Supreme Court which wanted to know from the Centre whether the law regulating motor vehicles was applicable to this mode of transport.
